DTV

I would just like to share info.
3-4 weeks ago test files wouldn't last for more than a few days.
Now they have been lasting for 3-4 weeks.Something's up(or down)I realize this is the wrong forum but I doubt DAVE is a member this board and we could speak freely.

They are doin the big card swap. going to the p5 cards. I got mine in the mail the other day, haven't put it in yet though, and now I get a msg on the screen saying to goto chnl 222 which tells you how to swap the new card in. If you put the new card in it will "marry" to the reciever and your screwed. it won't accept another "test" card after that. I use to play with this stuff alot, but I got tired of redoin it every few days. and then I had a buddy sued by Dave over some hardware he bought from canada. it cost him about $8k. I've pretty much left it since then. Plus I work too damn much to keep up with all the ecm's and other stuff. do a search for dsstester, they just came back online from a revamping/admin change, that's where I use to get all my info.....

Is the old card any good to test with after you do the swap? I recently did the swap myself, and was wondering if it would work in an old receiverf. I am not Dave. I used to "test" a little myself but just got to be to big of a pain.

Your "football card" should be good to test on older receivers.
