I am getting a booster next week for the 68. I need to see some pics for the braces setup. I have three braces here and dont know where they connect to.

I thought those were for the 71/72 trucks only?
I have had 2 70 trucks with brake boosters, one 3/4 ton, and a one ton...neither had a brace of any sorts. |

I'm in the process of adding PB to my 68. Below find a link to pics of the project. Big issue I'm having so far is the air cleaner for the 6 cyl I have. It reauires a special housing to allow clearance for the booster.
The brackets you mentioned are shown in the pics. This booster with 2 braces I believe came off a later K10. Like someone mentioned earlier apparently some had braces some didn't. I painted up one brace so far but not the other. I'm not sure if I will install the braces or not. If the hole isn't in the firewall it may be difficult to drill from the engine compartment side. 68 C10 6-Cyl Power Brake Conversion |
