Replacing Upper Control Arm Bushings
Posted this in the general forum - suspension and haven't gotten any responses. Thought I'd try here.
I need to change out the upper control bushings. Did this a while back on the other side, removing the entire upper control arm, I removed the upper ball joint wrecking it in the process. I am looking at it now (need to do the other side) and think I may be able to replace the cross shaft and bushings with out removing the ball joint from the spindle. Has anyone ever done this? If not, I'm open to suggestions.

Re: Replacing Upper Control Arm Bushings
I have done it. Its easy order the Moog replacement parts.
Trick: I used some copper anti-seize on the threads before installing. Use it heavily it will mix with the grease quite well. ps you do not have to remove the ball joints. Look up the repair manual on this site it will show you everything step by step. |
