screws for headlight/tail light bezels?

does anyone know of a place that has stainless screws (or something that wont rust) for the bezels? and maybe for the taillights too? I think i've seen some for the headlights somewhere, but I cant find them.

Re: screws for headlight/tail light bezels?

Pretty sure oe bezels had 2 different sized screw heads.
The flatter corners of the bezel had a smaller screw head so the head dont stick out.the more dished side of the bezel had a larger head.
My 67 was like this but not entirely sure yet on other years.

If I'm not mistaken they are a #6 screw about 1/2"-3/4" long.

You should be able to find stainless steal screws at any hardware store. LMC and Classic Parts have all that in their catalogs, but they're just buying it from the same places as the hardware stores.

Good luck!

Stainless screws sold in most hardware and home improvement stores are Phillips countersunk with a flat head , what your looking for are Phillips oval head screws #8 x3/4 for bezels , tail lights and directionals use a Phillips head machine screws with a shoulder , try Ace hardware for chrome plated screws .also many vendors carry screw kits .find an Auveco dealer in your area for best prices ,I buy boxes of 100 for around $5.00

I bought a variety pack from autozone. Less than ten dollars. Lots of different sizes.
