Parts/Tools for Eaton H052 '67 Chevy C20 3/4 ton

I have found videos on line with YouTube (like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRhkYQsAKI4 ). And talked to local NAPA, they have thin wall large sockets but no idea what size, I need to tell them. Chevrolet Truck Chassis Service Manual only gives their tool designation, "J-2222" for example. If you have any part numbers or reference I can find with Supplier it would be GREAT. Help

So J-2222 is correct for #/4 ton Chevy/GMC PU's? My question is because I have only seen (via videos) what looks like a large thin wall socket. (I did order another repair manual last night trying to find better details.) Thank you for that assistance, just trying to sort this out some before I go to do the job.

I'm in the market for one also. That OTC 1929 looks like it might work. On Amazon it says it has 8 tangs, but on OTC's site it doesn't specify other than showing 6.

Here's a pic of mine showing what happens when you don't use the tool.

Guess I need to pull one of my axles to see what I have? (Got side tracked fixing a tire on wife's Toyota FJ.)

Well - I think Amazon has incorrect info with the whole "8-tangs" thing. My truck has six and the tool looks like it has six. The only remaining question is whether the diameters are correct. I'll probably take the risk and order it...

Problem is cannot find GM Tool No. J-2222, but newer versions like J-2222-C.

Re: Parts/Tools for Eaton H052 '67 Chevy C20 3/4 ton

http://www.freedomracing.com/j-2222-...ut-wrench.html

"J-2222-C Wheel Bearing Nut Wrench 1929"

"6-lug type socket designed to fit the locknuts on '46 and up Chevy and GMC 5200 and 7200 lb axles, 9-3/4" DANA 60, C/K, G, Pvans, 9 3/4 in DANA 60, 10.5" DANA 70, 10.5" GM AXLES"

If I read that description this SHOULD WORK, (like Shaky said)?

Pardon me, but I have to ask: Doesn't the newer tool perform the same task?

That is what I was trying to figure-out Stocker. From what I found with tool description with Freedom Racing - it sounds the same.
