They do look nice. Not crazy about the digital aspect, but to each his own of course. And yeah - gauges are expensive in general.
OK, wasn't sure, . Their old system listed retail for $895. This one list retail for $1395. Both can be bought cheaper from board vendors. And who knows, maybe the price will come down more. I really just like the flexibility of this setup.
