Is this a factory color on this 69 Short bed?

Truck is a numbers matching 350/TH350 69 C10 with a 68 front clip. The previous owner did some horrible touch up(paint runs and sags)on the grill. Truck just needs a little TLC. Trying to figure out is this a factory color for a 67-72? Thanks in advance.

Hard to tell on a computer monitor. Medium Bronze?

I don't believe it's a factory color in 69 - the only thing close is saddle poly, but it's quite a bit lighter than that. There is a Dark Bronze Metallic that came out in 70, but it was darker than that.

Found a tag while cleaning out under the seat. Looks like a 85 Mazda color called California Brown.

Well that was a heck of a find, color matching should be easy now.

Re: Is this a factory color on this 69 Short bed?

It's a nice color and looks like one that "could have" gone on the trucks, except for being base coat/clear coat. I have a cool similar to that (darker) I've been considering for my '67... if it ever gets as far as pretty paint. I've had to wait long enough that I am seeing the color I thought up that would look good but no one uses is starting to be used
