Disc brakes questions

I am looking to do the disc brake conversion. I already have a donor truck a 1983 chevy. I want to use the upper and lower A-arms along with the steering components. My questions are..

1. Do I use the shims from the donor truck or do I use the ones in my truck, I mean the shims for the A-arms mounting point.

2. Can I use all of the tie rods centerlink pitman arm and such from the donor truck on my truck, do they fit right on.

3. Can I use the master cylinder and proportioning valve from the donor truck and still use my original power drum brake Booster.

Thats it for now any help would be great,

#1- Either one though the amount used on donor truck should get you close, but you will still need a front end alignment done.
#2- Yes use it all.
#3- Master Cyl. & Prop Valve should be used from the donor and will bolt to your booster just fine.
