Coil springs & bags problems?

a guy has a 1/2 ton short bed for sale with 2 inch dropped coil springs in the front and air bags in the rear. any problems with this set up? thanks, Larry

Thats kinda my set up but I have 2.5 in drop spindles as well.
Look how the bags are mounted, in place of rear coils then fine. How are the bags plumbed, just air line and schrader valve? Compressor and tank?
Get some pix or go look at it, take another set of eyes as well.

thank you for the replies. no tank or compressor. looks like the bags are mounted well. bags tee into a single line

If they are bags over leafs those are more used to level the truck kinda like air shocks use to be.

I had mine t'd off for a time but recently split them.
Either way worked for me.

eventually, you will want to separate the lines for individual control of each bag, and add an on board compressor, gauges and valves. Our shop truck, the J.T., has coil spring front and bags in the rear, and it works great.
