Re: Blazer Chalet for sale
Chalet #1544, built in 11/76.
Might be advisable to look past the superficial shine. From what I see, you'd be looking at a sizable amount of money to put it back up to showroom-new appearing, which is where the collector money is in these. By my estimation, this particular one is priced perhaps double what it is worth, if not a bit more than that. For contrast, there is the one in Flint where the seller has not yet bothered to put up photos, he wants $2500: http://flint.craigslist.org/cto/5576859171.html Hard to put a firm number on the ones available around the country for sale. On the map I have for them, which corresponds to the contact list I have at our Chalet owners/enthusiasts forum, I keep older listings there until I hear for sure that they are sold. Some languish unbought for years after the listings. Haven't gotten around to updating the list/map yet to include the Sacramento / Flint ones, or another (#0299, built in 7/76) that came up recently in El Paso: http://elpaso.craigslist.org/cto/5584127020.html

Re: Blazer Chalet for sale
I love it! But.. sadly, there is just no end to the number of toys we all WISH we could have. I suppose that it's a good thing that I am not rich. There isn't enough room in the world to store all the toys I would buy. LOL

Re: Blazer Chalet for sale
Might have had a copy n' paste error there, listing here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331936662916
This one is Chalet #0914 built in 9/76. Apparently met its $5 grand reserve with hours remaining in the auction today, probably $2 grand more than its worth considering its overall really rough condition.
