Accelerator Pedal Spring Question
I am changing the old pedal out for a new one ,, I broke the pin that the Accelerator Pedal and Spring are held onto the accelerator arm.
What keeps the spring from moving on the pin so it will keep tension ..? I assume the pin did it somehow. I was thinking of using a small bolt in place of the pin ,,but it seem to me the spring should be held down so there is tension with the up and down motion when using the Accelerator.. Here is a photo before i took it apart

I figured it out {{{ the spring bends back up and hooks behind the accelerator arm }}] that is where it gets the tension . The spring is essentially doubled up ..
