86 GMC Sierra 2500 my beast

]Hi new here. Worked hard with blood sweat and bruises to earn this truck. Then blew up the engine. Got one that came from my neighbors auction. Then had to replace the radiator and tires. I found this site so I can ask for advice cause I have limited mechanic skills. I have had many insane adventures in it like spontaneous combustion pine needle fire, bad choke feathering on ice and bailing in a deep snow covered ditch in a cemetery (I made it out in 2 wheel drive) barely cleared headstones! I drove it in a blizzard with bald tires and made it home despite oncoming semis on a bridge. As of now it runs great but I need a manual choke before winter. How do I post a pic?

Hi Natalee,

Click on Advanced (just below the posting field, I think) and that's where you can attach and upload photos. You can upload 5 in a message, but I usually get an error message if I try to upload more than one at a time.

Welcome! I'm new here too, and I find the people are really helpful. Even just reading the back stories on the trucks is fun.

I have a GMC Sierra Classic 2500, my first truck after wanting one for years.

Michelle

Welcome to the site. To add a pic, click on the paperclip. It will open a new window where you can choose the pics you want to upload. After you pick your pics, click upload. Watch the bottom left corner of the window for progress. When the site has finished uploading, they will list as attachments. At that point you can close that window and then click on the paperclip again. This time it will have the list of attachments. Click on the attachments or click on all and they will load into your text box.

Re: 86 GMC Sierra 2500 my beast

Well I think I got a profile pic of me and pic of my truck uploaded. Not sure though haha. Was fixing battery and replacing connector and rehabbing ground wire to only realize my alternator belt was missing. Its all good now but at least my belt was not controlling anything else that could have been wrecked. Let the world call me a fool- a line fron Waylon Jennings song-You asked me to. Smile!
