67 brake light trouble
everything has been working good untill the other day and with headlights on brake lights and turn signals are real dim or not working at all. turn headlights off and brake lights and signals are strong. is this a grounding issue? if so where are all the ground locations?

Re: 67 brake light trouble
That's a pretty classic grounding symptom. Do you know how to do a voltage drop test with a multimeter?
If so, start at your negative battery cable, and check it to determine what shape the cable is in. Then, go through every ground strap, cleaning them with a wire brush, flap wheel, grinder, or whatever you have. I have some bolt on ground straps, but I also used some clip on ground straps from early 90's Ford Explorers. A few extra ground straps doesn't hurt. Also, the link provided by Lockdoc is a good read, but you'll notice a couple comments suggesting making your own out of a piece of wire and a couple terminals. While that does work, the goal is flexibility and longevity with grounding. Ground straps are used because they provide a flexible connection that is resistant to rigidity, and breakage.
