CPP frame mount booster/master issues
Did a search for others using the CPP frame mount booster and had no luck. I'm having issues getting it to fit. There is an adjustment rod but, to get it to bolt up to the arm, the arm has to be pushed up to the point it makes contact with the floor. I also have contact with the arm and the entry hole in the floor. I'm making the floor hole bigger but, should I cut the adjustment rod down so that I can bring the arm off the floor? Surprised CPP would mass produce a or that does not fit.

I would cut the rod. Just make sure you have at least 1/2 inch of thread on the threaded rod end and the female thread engagement not including the lock nut

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
Did you get one for the TF truck? The pedal doesn't look like the original one, that's why I ask.

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
looks like a street rod pedal.
CPP = Crappy Parts Products. the less you expect from them the less you'll be disappointed. |

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
Unfortunately I had a bare cab to start with so, nothing to compare to. I however did purchase it off ebay.
This is the one I purchased. As was mention the easiest solution seems to cut the adjusting rod down but, then again I feel I shoul not have to do that on a part that is marketed for our trucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/55-59-TRUCK-...mRODzocTa8fAAA

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
This is a kit that most are selling for 55-59 trucks. it replaces the original frame bracket and pedal arm. No one that I know of sells just the bracket to mount a booster using the original arm. MBM used to but they are getting hard to find

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
Correct, so why does it not fit?

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
I don't use their parts for that very reason, nothing is ever a bolt on with them they always need some modifications, if you call them they will tell you they never had a complaint about it so it must be your truck. I would just cut the rod and move on.

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
I was in the CPP showroom a couple weeks ago and took this pic of the 55-59 booster mount using the factory arm.

I guess I will try and locate a factory arm first. Probably is angled better anyway. Thanks for the help!

Re: CPP frame mount booster/master issues
FYI: It's a two piece thing, you will need the arm and the pedal. You can probably get one from some one here on this forum.
