Re: Radiator Overflow Container
I have a billet bottle bolted to the side of the radiator and the hose connects from the bottom. Has been there over eight years

Re: Radiator Overflow Container
I am kinda lost. I thought a one gasket type cap with the overflow hose going to bottom of a vented container would work.
Coolant gets hot and expands building up pressure - pressure forces excess coolant passed spring in cap - going into bottom of vented container. Coolant cools off forming vacuum in radiator - vacuum 'sucks' coolant from vented container back into radiator. This wont work? |

Re: Radiator Overflow Container
I haven't found a coolant reservoir that suits me yet, so I just used the wiper reservoir.
I have the billet coolers on my 55, on the power steering, transmission and radiator.

Here is the how the tank I gave part numbers for earlier look. Its a factory looking setup, and it was from 80s F-bodies I believe.

Re: Radiator Overflow Container
I got it on ebay. I think it was a 10 inch. Came with brackets that I mounted to core support. ran over flow tube underneath radiator.
