Starter

I need to get a good starter solenoid not a cheap foreign made one.. Any ideas where to get one for a stock starter?

IMO, I would get rid of the original style starter and install a mini one. They are priced according to what you're willing to spend.

Whats a good brand to buy from? I know tuff stuff sucks. Been there done that. tried the cheap route and thats exactly what I got.

Go to your local auto parts store. I went to Merles, they sold me I believe one from1996 chevy truck. It bolted right up. It was around $80 for it. You will need shorter bolts.
