Gen 3 camaro rear sway bar frame spacer
I've read many threads about installing a Gen 3 camaro rear swaybar on my '72. I understand that a spacer is needed between frame and end link bracket. Is there a consensus as too how thick that spacer should be? I've read 1", 1 1/8", no spacer...
It will be a 7/8 bar, mounted above the axle, facing rearward, if that helps. Thanks! |

Re: Gen 3 camaro rear sway bar frame spacer
I put one on my truck. I can measure it tomorrow. But you can center the bar on the rear end, with the end links assembled, and measure the gaps. That's what I did and ordered aluminum blocks that thick.

I appreciate that. I was hoping to get ahead of the game with the parts so I don't have the truck down for long mocking it up.
