Re: New gauges installed..

I need to get mine installed! Mine are the VHX, so no color change for me, but I really like the last blue.

Re: New gauges installed..

The one thing I don't like about mine is blinker placement. How damn hard would it have been for them to put the blinkers where they should be. Not in the speedo.

Otherwise, I love mine. I went with simple white on black, but apparently you can change colors?

Re: New gauges installed..

Check out our forum's vendor's marketplace. If you talk to/PM them one of them can give you a better deal than you will find anywhere. Travis at Pro Performance beat the best price I could find on the VHX gauges by about $50 and free shipping.

Re: New gauges installed..

I'm glad I stumbled onto the YouTube video showing what the HDX gauges do, the Dakota Digital site doesn't explain them very well. I was about to buy the Autometer plastic gauge panel and Sport Comp II gauges, now I'm leaning towards these. I love the calibratable electronic speedo, 1/4 mile times and gauge warning options.

Re: New gauges installed..

I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago, looks like I'm still about 3 weeks out. I went with the silver facing.

The later VHXs and the new HDX allow you to put them in the factory location, in the display panel or both. The new HDX allow you to customize your colors, .

Look on DD website. You will have to call Summit to order from them.

It even has a buzzer to tell you to turn your blinker off if you forget!!!
