Re: no horn
Inside your harness from the battery, you have a battery feed, alternator, feed, and regulator feed junction. with a large red wire included that runs to the firewall junction block below the master cylinder.
This wire goes into the cab and makes a junction with three other red wires. One goes to the ignition switch, and one to the headlight switch, another goes to the fuse panel, and lastly is a red wire to the horn relay. The relay is located just below the steering column and to the left of it. The horn relay wiring and plug is a red green and black wire. The red wire is the full time power wire for the relay, and the green wire is the connecting wire that delivers power back out in the engine compartment to the horn. Inside the relay is an electromagnetic coil which is connected to the red wire on one side, and to the black wire for the ground side. The black wire runs from the horn relay up to the steering column connector, and up into the column to the horn button. When the horn button is pressed it grounds the black wire and completes the circuit to the electromagnetic coil which closes, and connects the red and green wires and sends power to the horns.
