Is a good in-cab gas tank worth anything?

The exterior of my tank looks brand new. Haven't peaked inside, but for whatever it's worth, the climate is very dry and the truck has spent its life in a garage (140K miles, 40K since 1993.). No rust on this truck.

Unless there are suggestions otherwise, I think I'll replace it with the rebuild. I hear Spectra makes a nice tank. Hopefully it's an exact fit.

Thank you.

i've had poor luck selling them for anything. but if you could find someone who needed one i would think you could get 50 bucks or so.

Yes, they are worth something because some rot and some want to stay with the General's design. But... can't ship them, so local sale. Post it up on Craigslist or on this parts board so hopefully someone can use it. I'd give a good part to someone who can use it before I'd scrap it into Chinese junk.
