72 K10 Protecto Plate
I have a 72 K10 Cheyenne with the original Protecto Plate... Does that make my truck worth more with it than it would without it?

I think about everybody would prefer to have one, but on the average truck no difference in value. Maybe a unicorn of a truck could benefit in ease of sale or justifying a strong price with all original documents including protecto plate.

It's nice to have especially if you also can find the build sheet. Even on concours resto trucks, the paperwork won't add much, maybe a hundred or two at the most.

no, build sheets look like the pic below. A Protecto-Plate is a nice-to-have, as is a build sheet. But unless you're talking a concours resto, it's not going to add to value. I've had 2 trucks with them and I felt a little special, but not much, still put my pants on two legs at a time and all that....
