Lmc exhaust kit

Anyone install a LMC exhaust kit on their 4x4 ? I'm thinking about it for my 72 k20 and wanted to see how it looked installed. I had good luck with the straight 6 single exhaust they sell.

Re: Lmc exhaust kit

I have to same system, it's made by Hearthrob Exhaust. I think I bought mine from Auto Anything and it came with free shipping. The install was easy but I had to still take it to a shop to have it tweaked a little. I probably could have spent the same amount in having it done locally but I would have had to get my truck towed to the shop because there was no exhaust at all.

I'm hoping it would be alot cheaper for me . Muffler shops around me want over $300 to just run the pipe and me supply the mufflers .

I used the 2wd kit and it worked fine. Also came from Hearthrob exhaust. Like mentioned above, I had to take one pipe to midas to get more bend on it. Check your pipes from the manifolds if you order it.

In a few states with checking with many shops 300 would be the cheapest I came across......

It is a quality kit. I bought the turbo mufflers and they sound good.

Re: Lmc exhaust kit

Are these kits made to work with heat riser or do I remove it?

Re: Lmc exhaust kit

yes they work with or without heat riser.
I bought the heartthrob dual kit from LMC without mufflers. I already had the turbo muffs. It went together well. No complaints.
