I ordered rims!
Last month I asked if I should finance rims and tires... Well I decided not to, but I did order rims/tires and will pay for them in payments on a layaway deal.
I ordered 2- 17x8, 2- 17x9.5 American Racing Torq Thrusts II's with 245/45ZR17's for the front and 275/40ZR17's for the rear. I am hoping to have them paid off and rollin' on them by mid-late May. Here's a pic, but I'm sure everyone already knows what they look like

Now your talking! With them in lay-away you will be very motivated to get them paid for. Much better than paying interest....

Did you shop around? Prices can vary a LOT.
I just put a set of 058 eagles on my Burb. They go for $120 each PLUS caps and lugs. So around $600 at Four wheel parts I got them for $375 for all four WITH caps and lugs. Shop my boy and save. Start with Ebay and find the rims your looking for and try to find out what company is selling them. I was given a link to www.rim-zone.com and that's where I found the $375 price. I printed that and MADE 4wpw honor thir price match guarantee.

I did shop around online, and I think the price I'm paying for the rims is an average price for Torq Thrusts in 17"... The store where I'm buying the rims and tires is throwing in free lifetime rotations/ balancing, 4 free flat repairs, free lug nuts. For $16 bucks each tire, I'm getting a certificate for free replacement of the tire if it shreds apart or needs replacing for any reason.

I buy my tires at Costco. As an example I put a set of 35 inch BFG KM on my 4x4.
At Costco they are $147 (last years pric) mounted ballance and lifetime road hazard, rotation and the works. NTB wanted over $210 and would not price match Costco.
