lowering with coils
As title says I am going to lower my truck with coil springs. 2" front 3" rear and I have two questions. Do I need to buy lowering shocks? Question 2 will this affect the ride quality of my truck much.

Re: lowering with coils
I cut 1 ring off front and used jeep springs in rear 2"/4" , stock shocks gave it a springy ride (no pun intended)as they are layed down instead of upright.I made my own shock re-locates in rear and she rides fine now or has for the last 3 yrs. I think you can buy relocate brackets from aftermarket companies . You need the shock to sit more upright to get the cushion of it when lowering it makes them lay down and not absorb the bounce . Do a search on here ,there are some guys here that made there own brackets .
