We lost one of the good ones...
67-72 C/K truck enthusiasts, this last weekend we lost a great supporter of our hobby. Fred Davis, a staple in the 67-72 GM truck hobby here in Colorado passed away last weekend.
I was lucky enough to have met Fred a couple years ago. At the time, I had a 72 C10 that didn't have any front inner fenders. Fred had a local Craigslist ad for 67-72 GM truck parts. I went to Fred's house and bought a pair of inner fenders from him. When I got home, I realized I was missing half of the hardware to install them. Fred said come by and he'd let me dig through a couple coffee cans full of bolts he had. I found 12 or 13 of the bolts I needed and when I asked what I owed him for the hardware he said "no charge". Thanks Fred for much more than a hand full of bolts. You will be missed.
