72 c10 from leaf to coil
I'm looking at a 72 c10 and it has leaf spring s on the rear I was wondering if The frame has the mounts already on the frame to switch over to coils this way I could just switch complete rearends and it would be a bolt on process or are the frames different from leaf and coil?

Frame is the same. The cross member where the center bearing for the drive shaft is mounts the rear control arm brackets. You will have to remove the leaf specific stuff and add any of the other coil related bits and brackets. It's good to have a donor frame for all that.

Re: 72 c10 from leaf to coil
I think you will also need brackets or crossmember for the top of the coil springs where they attach to the frame? Early classic sells this along with springs and rear end mounts for the trailing arms.
Trailing Arms and Crossmember Kit Heavy-Duty Replacement Trailing Arms. One-piece construction. 3-1/2 times stronger than equal wall 2\" round tubing. Supplied with new U-bolts, coils spring cups, polygraphite bushings, integrated emergency brake cable bracket, and all necessary hardware.

Re: 72 c10 from leaf to coil
The leaf spring rear diff does not have the casting boss in it for the pan hard rod to fasten/connect to, so I think you have to add a bracket (aftermarket?) to handle that.
Some of the guys can weigh in on this if I have that wrong. All Good Coley
