I checked the Trucks TV website, looks like its reruns until April 24th. Maybe we should email them telling them that we're sick of waiting, especially since he said he'd have it finished by the end of the season in an episode, and that was a year and a half ago!!!

waiting
I sent him a message, asking about the way the project is being aired. I got a response from his wife stating that he was meeting with the owner's of the show to discuss some things, but he doesn't have much say in what airs when. In short, the EXECS call the shots and I guess if we all keep checking for progress, then they are getting viewers!
Sunday was a TRUCKS marathon, anyone watch those back to back to back episodes? Good garage/shop viewing! |

Does anyone know the actual paint code for project Copperhead? They list it as PPG Copperhead Metallic on the Trucks website but paint stores work with paint codes not paint names. I have called several PPG paint stores and none are able to identify the actual paint code from the name "Copperhead Metallic".

I watched most of that marathon. I watched them completely build up the "SuperNova" with the 572 chevy big block. That thing will be pretty cool. Never saw anything about the copperhead specifically, but it is there in the shop still. You can see it in the background all the time.

Trucks has had nothing but problems dealing with the management since CBS bought TNN and made it spike tv. I think copperhead is a project they would like to make go away, and I think Stacey would be happy to be out of his contract and go to the speed channel like My Classic Car and Two Guys Garage.
My big complaint is that the shows are turning into a big infomercial. Last time I checked they were only making 13 episodes a year, which means lots of reruns.

I quit watching, he never actually finishes a project. I also got real tired of "how to give your deisel more power" every damn week.

yeah no kidding on the diesel buildups. Wonder if they know that as long as Copperhead is just sitting in the garage, there's going to be a few of us watching to catch the final episode where he bolts the hood back on and drives it away.

On a related not I stopped watching many of the shows like these because they all seem to be infomercials. If you're lucky you get 10 minutes of Car and Truck programming and 20 plus minutes of them pushing products (informercial style) and normal commmercials.

Don't get me wrong! I still watch occasionally and Copperhead is one awsome truck, some of the new "rod" shows are cool too but I don't need to be hit over the head to buy some of those products.

Copperhead looks so sad sitting in that corner!
Spike TV on Sunday made it a great day in the garage! Amen to that!
