Need Tranny Case..Please Help
Hey Guy's, I am looking for a transmission case. It's for a 1954 GMC. The truck is a three on the tree. Here are the numbers that are on the case. 8 GM 591616 L28. The case I have now is cracked. I suppose I could try and get it repaired but I would prefer using a new case. I know there are alot of experts out there, if there is one that will interchange with what I have, please let me know.

Gonebad2: Are you still looking for a tranny,,,I have a 3spd tranny from a 50 chev 1/2 ton truck,,Problem is im in Wis,,What do you think???,,,Dave
