Need heater blower help
sorry for posting here but i dont see a 1963 truck board. here is my dilemma, all the parts stores carry the one pictured with 2 mounting bolts, but the old one looks like the one with a large flat face for mounting
oh and Hi Im Rob this is my new project, paid $400 bones and drove her home. well, more like smoked the tires all the way lol not a dent on her i think i did ok? |

That's just the motor replacement. The flange you can take off the old fan motor and cage and add it back with the new motor.
You have to take the whole flange off to get the motor off.

i stripped mine, the flange is part of the outer body.

An original '63 Deluxe heater should have the motor with 2 studs and a separate flange. It is possible that someone installed an entire '64-'66 Deluxe heater or simply a '64-'66 fan motor. Take a look in this thread:
