Re: 1986 k20 "the mullet"

Haven't made to much progress lately. Recently got a section of land 20 miles from home so my time has been put into her but I've been saving my coins and making some slow purchase here and there. came across and dana 60 hub to hub for 400 bucks it was a steal. almost finished with the bucket seats from the s10

I'm curious about the 383. I'm in CA too and have to deal with smog. Is your truck exempt or did you hook up the factory smog equipment?

Re: 1986 k20 "the mullet"

i was struggling long and heard with my death wobble issue and it was really testing my paticens so i honestly gave up more than once trying to figure out what the hell it was. the whole thing stemmed from a broken belt in my used tire find off cl. I did wind up getting a set of shims from diy as well. I drove it before the shims were installed and there was a night and day difference. got the shims in and it was like a brand new truck. besides needing a longer front drive shaft I'm happy with where she sit for now gonna start saving to rebuild the 60 i have heres a photo of me finding out i need a longer drive shaft
