SURE! where were you when I needed to get rid of the Blazers. Anyway I run across thats sort of stuff but most guys don't get off the SWB trucks around here too easily. they are NO WHERE near as plentiful here as they are down south. I have a LWB 3/4 ton here that I would sell you only what you need for around $500. That's with matching 4.10 rears, good 33" tires, nice hubcaps and I can throw in some other items . You should just buy the whole thing for $950 and sell off all the stuff I have for it to guys on the boards . , DAVE

lol Dave.
A blazer won't work. Its wheel base is about 5-6" too short. I would very much like a half ton. A short would be the best cause it may not need shortened. I may be able to use a long leaf spring to move the axel foward and improve the ride. I'm looking for something to set my 56 on. Gona make it 4wd but I want it low with a nice ride. I will probably have to use bag to accomplish this. I don't want to slam it, just want a good ride with good handling and 4wd to launch my boat and for that freek NJ snow storm. Thats my plan...so far. |

hmm i couldnt think of any that would hold a 383. i know a guy down the street from me that took an old toreno(spl?) front wheel drive frame and put it under a late 80s chevy truck. it had the oldsmobile big block in it.
