1959 fleetside bed weight
Anyone know the weight of a 59 short fleet bed? There is no wood in the bed and I'm trying to figure out how many of my buddies to take with me to pick it up.

Awkward more than heavy. One on each corner easiest, but without wood could be handled by two with good backs

I put mine on, no wood or tailgate, with three people.

Re: 1959 fleetside bed weight
I can pick my 55 bed up off the ground by myself..putting it on and off the truck is a different story..me and my buddy pulled a 75 stepside bed off the truck just the two of us...one on each fender..I agree..awkward. . 4 would be better..
