Well ended up buying the ole burb back. Wife just missed it so much. Feel pretty good about what I paid considering all the work I have done to it. She's back at home with all her old friends now...

Got the old burb all ready for the road. Failed inspection first try for not having a muffler. The truck still has the factory cat under there so it's very quiet. So I welded in the smallist cherry bomb I could find and went to a different inspection place and they passed it. There is no difference in sound at all. You can nearly her the thing running so idle. Only thing left on the list is rear end rebuild. It makes a good bit of noise and heat and ac.

Did you happen to measure the amount of drop you got when the rear leaves were removed? If not, could you give me the fender to ground measurement both in the rear and in the front?
