87 Front Suspension

I'm kinda new to the squarebody thing so this may be a ridiculous question. Is it normal for the drivers side wheel to be about 1" closer to the fender lip than the passenger side? I know that the track is wider on the front vs. the rear.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
