2006 brake booster on 67 ??

Just want opinions on this booster. It is off of a 2006 Sierra Denali that i parted out for the engine and trans. I am wondering about using it just because I have it. It has a vacuum booster pump built in. Figured I could make it so the pump turned on whenever I pushed the pedal. I would assume that I would have to change the proportioning valve as the Denali was disk disk. My 67 is drum drum single master. I am converting to disk drum with parts from a 1980 C10 I parted out.

I am leaning toward a hydraboost system but if this wold work its free, other than adapting it. Fittings are different I would imagine, but i will need to replace the brake lines anyway.

The biggest problem I see with doing this is how to mount it? The factory brake assembly has studs welded onto it poking out towards the firewall, and this brake booster obviously has studs that poke into the passenger compartment. So to mount it, you would have to knock the studs on the factory brake assembly out, and even then you would need to make sure that the studs on this brake booster would even go into those holes, and if not you have to find where you would have to drill the new holes, and if they will not interfere with anything.
Then you also have to worry about the push rod length, which I have done on a hydro boost, not very hard at all.
As for the vacuum pump, those were designed to only supply vacuum when the engine could not keep up. I don't think they would last if you wired it up to come on with the brake lights do.
The master cylinder should just be a bolt on deal, some of those trucks came with disk drums from the factory, so you can just pick up a factory replacement at your local parts store.

You don't have to knock no studs out of the fire wall.

You need the brackets for a 67-72 truck. They will have holes for the fire wall and holes for the booster. You may have to redrill the booster side though. I haven't ever check on this so it's a guess they may bolt right up. Not a very good picture but you can see it attaches to the bracket not the fire wall.
