71 C30 What's It Worth?
(Sorry no pics)
I found a 71 C30 with a newly rebilt 350, it does run and the cab looks fairly rust free, it is a dually. Someone has put a tilt steering column out of an oldsmobile in it and then cut the wires under the dash(starts with some kind of switch). It has good tires and a PTO winch with a wrecker bed on it. The old guy says he doesn't know what its worth and wanted me to make an offer. Any suggestions? (I know pics would really help) |

I'm not sure why I want the truck, I guess I have caught the fever. Since I bought the 72 c30 I am suddenly noticing every 67-72 chevy. I would like to gradually fix up the one I have and thought this one would be a good parts truck.

dtlilly, I would like to see a picture of your C30 if its handy. It is probably posted somewhere on here, but I'm still learning about the message board (just like the truck.)

I TALKED TO THE GUY AGAIN YESTERDAY, HE SAID THAT HE WANTS $2,000.00 FOR IT, HE CLEANED IT UP SINCE I SAW IT AND IT LOOKS TO BE IN REALLY EXCELLENT MECHANICAL SHAPE. WITH NO NEED FOR THE WRECKER BED THAT SEEMS KINDA HIGH FOR ME.
