Funny story related to Lowes - BIL works there and once saw an individual insist on loading two pallets of shingles in his '07+ 1/2 ton Silverado. First pallet made it squat, and after loading the second one and finding the truck wouldn't move, they removed one pallet and it would move but sat noticeably lower than before. Woops.
That sounds cheaper than a flip kit for lowering my half ton. Maybe I'll take it to Home Depot and overload it. I have that same 15k Trailering Special package and badge on my parts Suburban. Heavy duty stuff.

Good to see your truck out earning its keep. It's in great shape. I like how you protected the bed.
