Tilt steering wheel/colume
I have a '69 chev c10. I'm considering putting a tilt wheel/colume in it. Any suggestions on what would fit and work with the least alterations? Thanks,,Bill

Re: Tilt steering wheel/colume
Get a factory rebuilt column from a guy like 70SHORTFLEET on the board and bolt it in, plug in the power wire, and you're done.
Or you could start with a Van tilt and make mods, shorten it, and so on, but I preferred the simpler and more accurate route of a factory unit. IDIDIT also likely makes something, but we have no shortage of access to quality factory units, so....

Re: Tilt steering wheel/colume
I contacted him last night about doing mine. Once the tax money is in the bank he will be getting mine.
A complete rebuild with new turn signal and shaft. Mine is a van tilt.
