Your opinion and advice
Hello, i just purchased a 63 C-10 long bed Fleetside. I would like to change the seat cover, it is new but I'm crazy about the color how it matches the painted interior. Im thinking a two tone ivory and white would compliment it more? I also need to install a carpet cause its missing one.
What are your thoughts on color for seat and carpet , should i go with cut pile or loop? would it be smart to install a Heat Shield Kits & EVA Sound Deadener? Any certain quality I should look for in these parts or any company recommendations or websites would be greatly appreciated for your input and help. i also will be changing the wheels and tires but i will leave that for another topic discussion. I've included a pic of the interior and body. Thanks again! |

Nice truck! Looks like a great project.
I don't have the answer to any of your questions except that I would personally use some type of sound deadener for sure.

Re: Your opinion and advice
If you want carpet, just put black carpet in it and drive it. As you put miles on it, you may find things needed that are higher priority than cosmetics.

Re: Your opinion and advice
I would put carpet in it to compliment the seat cover and maybe ad a pinstripe down the body at the hood edge where to top turns to the side in a similar color. That will tie it all together. Then a set of these done in white to match the top.

Re: Your opinion and advice
I wouldn't do a white seat if you plan on driving it a lot. White is really hard to keep clean. A tan or saddle color would look good and be lower maintenance.
