oil gen temp dash lights help please.
my 66 c10 has a recent 350 crate engine in it. it has all 3 senders already installed on engine with wires going thru fire wall , but i am not yet sure where they are routed.
my dash idiot lights do nothing. can the dash panel lights be made to work on this engine/sender set up? any advise on my options and a plan to get them working are greatly appreciated. thanks Allan |

Re: oil gen temp dash lights help please.
You can make some of it work but you will need the sending units for the truck for oil and temp. If it was my truck it would get a set of mechanical gauges for oil, temp and volts and not wait for the idiot lights to tell me I have had a problem. I want as much info as I can get to prevent one.

Should only be 2 senders (temp and oil) As long as the senders are for lights they will work (they may be for gauges if so you will have to change them) But must be hooked up as the original ones were
