Which one first?

Hey you all, I have been following this forum for about 2 weeks now, the first day I found the site, I spent about 8 hours reading nearly every single post. Learned alot, well I finally was able to log on today and ask this question that has been running through my head for the past few days.
I have a dillema of trying to figure out if I should get my wheels first or to get my airbag setup. at the moment I only have about 2g to work with. I want to get both eventually, but what one would some recommend first? Airbags to lower or to get my 22" wheels first?(. too big? dont want to go any smaller than 20's) very hard decision. I am also trying to figure out if I want to get a f-b system or to get a f-b-s-s system. I know that some say it helps around corners if you get the f-b-s-s. but wondering what the different components are that cause you to be able to s-s control. is it the ports out of the tank?
also anyone know of a 4 bolt main converstion kit for a 454? I know they are readilly available for the 350's. but a machine shop I trust says that they have never heard of such a kit.
I also bought a custom auto interior book a couple of weeks ago and they use chipboard for there interior planing, anyone know were I can get some, home depot and lowes doesnt carry it.
well I will try post a pic of ms. marry (my truck) tonight. thanks!
I also have a couple of months to decide what I want to do, truck in back home in washington state.
I also am in need of lwb bed, I checked with a junk yard and they said 400 for there rusted, pos beds, I laughed and walked off. I have a 92 bed on the back, just needs some trimming down to make it look like a better fit.

Hmmmmm, I'd have to see your truck to give an honest opinion. No, really, where in Va Beach do you live?

As for your bags verses rims delima, you could get which ever, and toss it in the garage, and once you get the rest of the parts, get it all done in one weekend and drive to work in a totally different lookin rig.
If you must install your stuff as you get it, (like me) then get what ever you think would not look stupid. I know I have seen some huge wheels on non-lowered trucks, and it looked pretty dumb IMO. (I'm not a huge fan of big wheels either, so i may be biased). On the other hand, air bags set to a 'normal' height would not giva nayone a clus, and your rusty plain steel wheels (or worse yet...wagon wheels) wouldn't look funny all tucked up in the fenders. Either way, welcome to the board. I remember the day I found the site, I spent all day reading the stuff, and was amazed that I wasn't the only redneck (truck owner) with internet access.

I would go with the bags first. Then you can accurately determine if the diameter wheels you want will fit. I am not sure, but I think the only real difference in f/b and f/b/s/s is the number of valves and switches/relays. For f/b, you really only need two (one for the front and one for the back), but for f/b/s/s, you will need one for each bag (4). And a few more switches and relays. Go ahead and get the f/b/s/s. You may as well spend a little extra now and have it all, rather than deciding you SHOULD HAVE done it and be forced to reconfigure it and spend more later. But that's just me.
