Guage bezel w/ Tach

I have a Gauge Bezel with all the guages except the Vacum guage. I was just wondering if it is worth anything, also it is original and everything works.

I will swap you a fresh $20 for it!!!

Actually, depending on how nice it is, could be worth $100+

Is it a 6 or 8 cyl tach? It should be stamped on the back of the tach. Value also depends on the condition (obviously). Is there any rust on the gauges, faded paint, scratches in the lens, etc.

Have, er..."had" one

I found a '67-'68 gages panel on e-bay and got it for about $56. Didn't have chrome, the gages all look fine. It fell off the box for my truck parts in the garage to the cement floor this winter. Only about a foot, but it hit on the upper right hand corner and broke the plastic bezel there. I've decided I like the non gauge dash the PO cut 2" holes in to mount gages. I've put in sunpro white gauges 'cause their easier to read. Also, PO painted the panel white and look good in it.

Long story to say I paid $56 for mine (plus shipping) only to break part of the plastic and decide I don't want it.

Whats a broken bezel with good gauges and good plastic faces go for?

you can get a fresh shiney new bezel for 25 bucks, so don't think of your panel as junk. They can bring quite a bit on e-bay with a tack inthere. (about twice what you'll get for it on here)

Duhhh

I need to read better too. Mine is the non-tach unit with gauges.
Where can I get a new bezel for $25, all the ones I see are running $60 - $80?

Apparently you are better off spending more money for a bezel, the $25 ones don't fit too well.

I've bought 4 or 5 of the 25 dollar ones from Ricks I think, and they fit almost perfect. I give them a 95% in fitment.

I was looking at one in a store a couple weeks ago and noticed that it was bowed in the middle instead of the whole thing being flat, that kinda turned me off of the cheapies.

These ones were flat.
It's been a year since I've messed with one, but if memory serves, there was a slight fitment issue on the top (back side) I think a screw didn't line up or something.
