Tire suggestions needed (31" or smaller)
I am looking for suggestions for tires for my 72 Blazer.
I don't really do any offroading I drive it in the winter so I need something good for the snow I drive it on the highway almost as much as in the city so gas mileage is important I currently have 31" no name tires on 15" aluminum slots, no lift, stock original truck. I like the wider look of the 31" but I am open to something a little narrower if it will help in the MPG department.

I'm in the same boat as you. I get maybe 9 mpg with my 31's.

I got about 13-14 mpg on the highway this past weekend. Looks like the only option from BFG is the 31" All terrain Tire

I've got the BFG All Terrain's in 235/85R16 (approx 31" tall but skinny). I get 12-14 mpg and it handles great w/o bumpster. The tires are great in snow and wet weather.

This is my second time looking for tires now. I went with BFG Rugged Terrain 265/70/15 tires 20,000 miles ago and the fronts are already worn out to the point of replacement. I negotiated some warranty compensation with BFG but the options out there for a 15" tire are pretty limited, only option is looking to be the All Terrains which I am a bit leary about since I do mostly highway driving topless
