No the 292 is threaded for a bolt on the crank snout the 250 isn't , you can have the crank drilled and tapped to use a bolt to hold the balancer on , the 250 is pressure fit and doesn't use a bolt . use the search box for many threads on your situation .

Thank You.Yes.I was told it was probably a 292 but apparently not.I did find a photo of the difference between the two.Also found what the key on the post where the Harmonic Balancer goes is called a Woodruff key.My daughter's fiance came over and took the key out and will find one that is good.The one he took off my motor had a groove wearing down the side.Found the Woodruff Key photo.[IMG]
