Evap tube line
I followed the line from the evap tube down the passenger side frame rail to where the line ends just in front of the radiator. Where is it supposed to go from here? I have no clue. Do I even need it? I've been driving for a year like this with no problems. Thanks

Re: Evap tube line
Line goes to Charcoal canister. It is supposed to be under the battery box. Line from charcoal canister goes to carb.

Re: Evap tube line
Thanks for the info. Do I need the charcoal canister? I haven't had any problems and don't smell gas fumes. Anyone have a picture of this.

Re: Evap tube line
Charcoal Canister along with air pumps were smog items mandated by the Gov.
Most people removed them after they broke and never put them back on.

Re: Evap tube line
This may help, the smog canister on my 72 and where the vent hose to the hard line .The smog pump and exhaust manifolds were usually removed and tossed.
