69-72 Tach cluster with volt gauge conversion

Here is one from Classic Gauge and Cluster. It is restored with a new aftermarket tach and circuit board. It has new #168 bulbs. It has a very nice used aftermarket bezel.

I added one of my volt gauge conversions to this cluster. It can be exchanged for a stock amp gauge if desired.

The cluster has been completely tested for function and works great. There is however some rust/rot on the lower edge of the inner tin that will have no effect on the cluster at all. The tins were all glass beaded and painted.

I would like to see $450.00 for this cluster plus shipping which is generally around $25.00. I will include a tach harness with your choice of HEI or point style coil end.

First "I'll take it" please.

Please note that I will be on vacation next week and will not be able to ship after the 14th and until the 24th.

Thank you for looking,
Tom

Re: 69-72 Tach cluster with volt gauge conversion

I will cover shipping on this cluster if anyone is interested. It is generally around $25.00 to ship.

With minimal work, the bezel can be replaced with a 67/68 style for the same price

$450.00 to your door.

Thank you,
Tom

What do you need to do to make a factory tach work with an eletronic distributor?

Re: 69-72 Tach cluster with volt gauge conversion

If T-Bone doesn't want to come out of retirement, I have a cluster he built for me a couple of years ago. It's been sitting in the box waiting for my build, but since then, he restored a speed minder set up for me. I don't even remember the particulars on cluster #1. I think it has had the voltage gauge conversion done, 80 PSI oil pressure gauge, and 8K tach. It also has a woodgrain bezel but that can be changed easily. Also includes the HEI harness. Have to look tonight. PM me for pics.

Again, this is only if T-Bone isn't in the business again. I'm not going to step on his toes. He's too good of a guy.

I really appreciate the kind words Randy. For now I am not building any clusters. Who ever may buy your cluster will get a nice one for sure.

Thank you again,
Tom

Re: 69-72 Tach cluster with volt gauge conversion

You da man, T-Bone. You do beautiful work. If you hadn't built me the speed minder cluster I wouldn't be selling the first one you built for me. I think you need an apprentice to train!

Randy

If no one else responds will take the gauge set and HEI harness. What year is the bezel for?

Re: 69-72 Tach cluster with volt gauge conversion

My cluster is sold. Thanks to all for the interest.
My thoughts are the T-Bone has to come out of retirement!
If anybody is looking for an extremely high end cluster I do have one of those. I'm talking over the top. The ultimate Cheyenne Super set up. Speed minder, vacuum, 5K tach, beautiful oem woodgrain bezel AND matching aluminum backed woodgrain glovebox bezel, manual throttle cable, hei wiring, speed minder wiring/buzzer + harness, 80 psi oil pressure gauge. All are beautiful OEM gauges. This is show quality.

Bought it from a board member a year or so ago, he fell on hard times and had to sell it. Never installed in his truck, never installed in my truck. Only thing missing is the ammeter to voltage gauge conversion but T-Bone could probably hook you up if wanted.

I'm not smart enough to figure out how to post pics so if you're SERIOUSLY interested, PM me your email address for pics. By seriously, I mean $1200 + the ride. Non-negotiable. If you want the best, this is it.
Thank you,
Randy

Do you have a decent core? If not, I can locate one and restore it. I will need to know what year and what options you want, tach, vacuum gauge, etc. Do you want the volt gauge conversion as well?

Let me know.

Thank you,
Tom
