I have a 84 GMC that I have just replaced the battle scarred th350c with a 700r4. When I shift from park to R it is smooth as silk. Go on down to OD and KLUNK

Dang, I just talked to a tranny mechanic a few nights ago and he asked if my truck did this, since it didn't I didn't remember what he said the cause could be.
Do you have a 4wd? Sorry I can't be of any help, my tranny is in the shop right now so I know how it feels. At least this'll bump your post to the top so maybe someone else can help you ![]() Oh and welcome to the board ![]()
