75 c20 to a 65 c10

I am sure it says some where but I have to seen it. I am looking to swap the front crossmember out on my 65 c10 . I have a 75 c20 complete front crossmember available to me . Is this somthing that is swappable or not worth the time. It is 8 lug

If you want to convert your '65 C10 to a C20, then yes that will work. Although you will still have the lighter C10 frame. Most people are going the other direction.

I mainly was looking to do it for the disc break conversion. It was a 2wd truck that it came out of and I can pick it up for a decent price. But if it's not worth it and will not fit I don't want it

I didn't say it won't fit. The C20 suspension crossmember is basically the same as a C10 crossmember. I'm just not understanding why you would want top go from 6 lug to 8 lug just to get disc brakes. Why not get a suspension from a '73-'87 C10? unless you want to go with 8 lug. You will also have to change the differential to a 8 lug diff.
