Re: Electrical issues 92 'Burb
Well, if anybody is interested, I found the problems after an afternoon of swearing, sweating and contortions well past my 74 year old body's capabilities. The driver's side sun visor had the shorted wire in it. The wires going to the power seat had chafed, shorted and finally crystallized the positive wire to the point that it fractured under the carpet on the drivers side. I put a splice in it temporarily, but will go back today and change the positive and negative wires and add a sleeve under the carpet. This circuit is one of the most difficult (to me) because it goes to so many different places, the lights inside, every place there's a courtesy light and many more, in a large parallel circuit, any of which can short out.
