I've always like Pioneer head units. Just a personal preference.....

Re: clarion or pioneer
Honestly, both companies have good reputations. It's just a matter of personal preference. Flip a coin?

Re: clarion or pioneer
I had a few Pioneers in the last few years and then tried out Kenwood and actually liked them better. Easier to navigate and control all the subwoofer settings on. They are both decent brands mainly personal preference.

Re: clarion or pioneer
For what you're wanting, I personally would go with whichever is better aesthetically.
For those basic functions, assuming you aren't looking for a super nice or loud sound system, any ol head unit will work. I'm sort of partial to kenwood myself, they also have cheap Hearn units that would work great, look great, and have a ton of settings. |
